No. Amboji gravies and sauces are fresh, in a paste form and completely ready-to-eat. Simply empty the contents of the pouch in a pan, adjusting the consistency with water and heat them. Then they can be used to create your favourite varieties of dishes. They are not dehydrated, freeze-dried or powder form like many other brands. So the taste, quality, consistency is as fresh as it can be.
The shelf life of these products is 18 months from the date of manufacturing.
Store in a cool and dry place at room temperature. Protect from direct sunlight. No need to refrigerate until the pouch is opened. Once opened consume immediately. Mix well before use. Oil separation is natural. Do not use if the pouch is leaking or bloated.
No. Amboji products do not have any preservatives, artificial colours, artificial flavours, thickening agents, stabilisers and artificial enhancers or additives of any kind. They are totally clean-label products. They are as pure and as natural as you would make them at home.
Our products are processed and packed using controlled thermal processing and high-barrier, sealed packaging designed to maintain safety and quality for the stated shelf life at room temperature, in line with applicable food-safety standards—without relying on artificial preservatives or cold storage until the pack is opened.
1. Using Pan: Empty the contents in a pan and adjust the consistency with water. Heat and stir for a minute and they are ready-to-use. Make your choice of dish with the base gravy.
2. Using Microwave: You can also empty the contents in a microwavable container. Add water, stir and heat to achieve desired temperature.
3. Using Hot Water: Lastly the pouch can be kept in boiling hot water for about 4-5 minutes and the contents will be warm enough to use directly by mixing the desired ingredients of choice.
